Episode 1 - Mi casa, es tu casa
In our first days in Mexico we experience the local hospitality as a kind mexican woman invites us in her house. We continue our journey in the rural areas of Yucatan peninsula and find incredible water cave managed by local Maya people
Episode 2 - Años viejos
Our luck strikes in and we receive an invitation to welcome 2022 with an amazing family, with whom we wander in the jungle, pick papaya, pinuela (a very tasty fruit that can cause bleeding in the mouth) and other exotic fruits
Episode 3 - La Vida Mexicana
(Part 1)
In this episode we continue experiencing 100% Mexican hospitality in the remote areas of Yucatan state. We visit Edznà ruins, two Mexican guys offer us to make drug business together, we eat delicious Mexican homemade and street food and spend a lot of time with the local people learning the secrets of the Mexican life, which we show you in this episode. Suddenly we decide to live for several weeks in small Mexican village full of surprises after receiving kind invitation from the locals.
Episode 3 - La Vida Mexicana
(Part 2)
Our life continues in a small Mexican village. We visit distant Mennonite community and learn more about their curious way of living. We then help local church to deliver purified water to the village and try some “amazing” food, such as cooked armadillo and lowland paca. Village life turned out to be a real highlight for us.
